The project involves arranging the garden of the Callatis Archaeological Museum in a space for art exhibitions, cultural events and free leisure for the community and visitors. We also considered it appropriate to partner with an artist from Norway, who will hold an art workshop in Mangalia to stimulate artistic innovation locally and who will create an art installation for the garden. All this supports the local community, offering the possibility to increase the visibility of local artists and the development of the public, but also to increase cultural consumption.

The general objective of the project is to diversify the cultural offer in Mangalia and increase the community's access to culture by creating a space and program dedicated to both local artists and the community locals or tourists.

Specific objectives are: improving access to culture in Mangalia by developing a cultural garden with a program of artistic and cultural activities, strengthening cultural management in Mangalia by creating five jobs and the development of the public and the diversification of the cultural offer.

This project is financed with the support of EEA Grants 2014-2021 within the RO-CULTURE Programme
